Scottish-Nigerian, Moyo Akande is an actor and producer. She grew up in Glasgow, Scotland, before heading to London to specialise in her love for acting at Arts Educational.
She has an extensive list of television credits in particular for the BBC and has worked in many theatre’s across Britain with Olivier and Tony award winning directors.
Moyo recently appeared in Tetris (2023) for Apple TV+, as well as an episode of the BAFTA winning series Inside No.9 (2023) for BBC2.
Currently, she is set to make her mark as the new semi-regular Pathologist in Crime - Season 2 for ITVX starring Dougray Scott.
Her BAFTA Scotland and British Independent Film Award nominated short film, 1745, which she script developed and stars in the leading role, is currently being developed into a feature film.
